Exciting new Art classes with Gillian Park for children to come and get creative in a whole new way! Gillian is a qualified secondary Art teacher and esteemed professional artist with work commissioned and displayed in art galleries far and wide. Gillian has been head of props and set design with all theatre companies in Inverclyde and the amazing sets and props that you see in most shows (including ours) have been Gillian's magnificent work! Classes aim to introduce children to the basics of art and design encouraging self expression and engagement with others. The visual elements, colour theory, proportion and perspective will be taught in. a series of lively lessons using a range of techniques and approaches. Youngsters will be able to get involved with group projects and eventually contribute to producing stage sets and props for productions and events. The emphasis is on encouraging learning and creativity in a welcoming and supportive setting.
